Kakazu family-our foster parent in Okinawa

Foster parents come from all walks of life, and OIC participant is in needs of families with different abilities and strengths to care and mingle with us. One thing good in Okinawa is the people here are very kind and supportive to our endeavor. Kakazu family is one of the best family in Okinawa. I salute you.

To Dr. and Prof. Kakazu ,thank you very much for you invitation. I treasure moments that we were together with your son and daughter.

About Tropical Beach

The tropical beach in Okinawa near chatan is very beautiful place for relaxation.

Food for the body thru friendship

Our MTEC instructors are very kind to us and very friendly. One of them is Nana-san, she is kind and a mother to us. She invited us to have a lunch date in Turkish restaurant with Fumiyu-san. Me and Damaris were very lucky to be with them.

More about Okinawa

Okinawa has many beautiful sceneries such as beaches and shuri castle. I have a very wonderful experience in shuri castle with some of my friends and of course with all the pinoy in OIC.

About Shuri Castle

Shurijo Castle is a symbol of the unique history and culture of Okinawa. It is very nice and contain beautiful structures. Shurijo Castle consists of two areas: the expanse within the walls and the space between the inner and outer walls.

Outsid the castle, you can find a beautiful landscape and other beautiful flowers. The present Shurijo Castle is modeled after the 18th Century facility. As I observed the rocks and stones, I believe that these are original and being preserved by the people in Okinawa.

Otso-otso sikat dito sa Okinawa

I believe that Bayani A. of the Republic of the Philippines is really a good novelty singer. If we will read and realize the lyrics of the song parang walang meaning, pero iba ang dating dito sa Japan. Otso-otso is so sikat here. Iba talaga ang Pinoy. Diba big boss? Now I can say that palaban talaga ang Pinoy.

Wow! Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium

The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium first opened its doors on 1 November 2002 in Ocean Expo Park. Its name was chosen from a total of 13,897 public votes, which had been sent in from all aver Japan. The Naming Committee commented that the name, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium: "can easily be distinguished from other mainland aquariums", "sounds uniquely Okinawan", and " has a ring to it, making it easy to remember."* " Chura " of " Churaumi " means " beautiful " or " graceful " in the Okinawan dialect." Japan has a 140 billion yen market for freshwater aquarium pets on a retail price basis (Toyoshima, 1995). There are different kinds of fish in this beatuiful place.
